Dear Friends and Family,
We've been waiting till our day would show up in the 10-day forecast, and we're happy to report that the weather looks beautiful for Saturday!
All systems are go, we're working hard to build an incredible party, and many many many many thanks to all of you who have helped us so much, in so many different ways, the love that we can feel pouring in from our community is tremendous.
We're very excited and can't wait to celebrate with you all! If you aren't able to make it, you'll be in our hearts and we'll send you a link to the photos after we get back from Costa Rica on Sept. 17th wooo hooo!!!! (For those of you who thought that we were bound for Europe, you should know that Caitlin has just begun her dream job as Production Director and DJ at WKZE in RedHook and we have decided to turn the three weeks in Europe into twelve days in Costa Rica so that she can keep the dream alive)
On a business note: we need to estimate the head-count as close to accurate as possible, so that we can have the right amount of food and beverage. If you haven't RSVP-ed yet, please do so by replying to this e-mail or thru our website www.caitlinandkale.com

If you're planning to camp on the beautiful grounds at the home of Kathleen Mandeville (wedding officiant, matchmaker and dear friend), even better. We're ready for you with Keegan Ales, a porta-potty, and an outdoor shower. Parking is not available at the camping area, (just like a music festival ;-) so please plan to unload your stuff at Kathleen's before the wedding, and leave your car in the safe and free municipal lot in Tivoli (5 minute walk).
Here's the plan for the day:
12:00-2:00 pm set up your tent in Tivoli if you're camping
3:00 pm Arrival at Rokeby Farm for snacks & drinks. Please arrive at 3 if you can as parking may take a few minutes, and we want you to have a little time to chill before things get started.
4:00 pm Caitlin and Kale get married!!!!
6:00 pm Dinner at Milagros in Tivoli
7:00 pm Angus Martin plays upstairs at Milagros for our first dance and many many more!
8:00 pm A Variety of Performances by Friends and Family
Cake & Toast
9:00 pm another set by Angus & Friends!!!
10:00 pm LoverCraft VS The Drone Rangers (more great music)
11:00 pm DJ Tim Bollinger, husband of Sarah Bollinger (maid-of-honor), and father of Cedrick (ring bearer), Evie and Talula (flower girls) will spin records
1:00 am After-Party/Bonfire at Kathleen's house down the street from Milagro's in Tivoli with more awesome tunes spun by DJ "Good" Will Atwell in the barn
Find your tent in Kathleen's big backyard and crash anytime you get tired
Sunday Brunch at Milagros from 10-2 the next morning (Brunch will cost between $10 and $15 and is being prepared by our wonderful Caterer Carl and his crew at Great Food & Company) This meal will be in the courtyard of Milagros and promises to be just what the doctor ordered after a late night of partying. Tivoli doesn't have enough breakfast seats to hold our whole wedding posse so we're very greatful to Carl for setting up a courtyard brunch for us all. Please let us know if you would like to attend this meal so that we can get a psuedo accurate count for the chef.
We've been getting a lot of questions about dress-code. It's pretty much up to you. Kale will be wearing a tux and Caitlin will be wearing a wedding dress. Some people will get very dressed up and some people will wear jeans. Please feel comfortable in whatever you're wearing, we just want you to have fun. You might want to be fancy for the ceremony and bring a change of clothes if you plan on rocking out at the late night dance party.
We're SO excited that you are going to be there on our big day! It means the world to us!
